Since 1999, DJ Kuki has developed his arsenal of blends, cuts, and scratches, from beat matching to beat producing. He has become an elite veteran, DJing with artists such as Talib Kweli, KRS-1, Lil Scrappy, Jay Sean, Dr. Zeus, RDB, and more, while holding his own alongside DJ greats like Jazzy Jeff, Funkmaster Flex, and DJ Speed. After several years of holding a resident DJ spot in Chicago at nightclubs and lounges including Harddrive, Crobar, Zentra, Level, Soundbar, and Crimson, DJ Kuki went from the limelight to the spotlight.

Along with his appeal to all types of crowds, DJ Kuki naturally took on the life of the party. He has realized instant status headlining spots in Toronto (Caribana Weekend), Washington D.C. (Bhangra Blowout), Detroit, Indianapolis, Florida (South Beach Hip-Hop Weekend), and most recently crossed the Atlantic to take over the air waves in the UK.  Along with Detroit rapper Kidd Skilly, he spent ten days on little sleep pushing a new collaboration with Akon.  They spent the night at platinum producer Panjabi MC’s house working on music and trekked through mixshows at BBC’s 1Xtra and Radio1, when they weren’t doing shows or interviews.
